Una has been involved with animals since an early age and worked with horses throughout her life including Point to Point and Event horses.  After seeing the benefit McTimoney had on her own horse, Una became interested in this area and decided this was what she wanted to do.  Once completing her A levels, Una went on to study for a BSc (Hons) in Equine Sports Science at Nottingham Trent University.  Una then completed a MSc in McTimoney Animal Manipulation at the McTimoney College in Abingdon.

 
Una qualified in 2008 and has set up a successful business covering Warwickshire and the surrounding counties from her base in Hatton.  She owns an ex-racehorse who she competes on a regular basis in affiliated Eventing along with Show Jumping and Dressage.  She also owns a very cheeky Chocolate Labrador, Radley, who often attends appointments with her.

Una is registered with the McTimoney Animal Association (MAA) and is fully insured to treat animals using the McTimoney technique.  The MAA is now recognised by the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) as a Musculo Skeletal Paraprofessional.
